Minister Caglayan has attended the Turkish Canadian Chamber of Commerce first year anniversary reception dinner.  During his speech, Mr. Caglayan applauded TCCC’s efforts in creating a platform where Turkish and Canadian entrepreneurs can meet. 

Drawing attention to the tremendous trade potential between Turkiye and Canada, Mr. Caglayan said “ I want to make it clear that I did not come here to visit Canada or to enjoy its natural wonders, I came here as a result of the huge trade potential I sense between Turkiye and Canada.  Canada desires to expand its trade beyond North America.  Canadians also perceive Turkiye as one of the most promising markets to expand.  We have got to take advantage of this situation.”  Mr. Caglayan added that, to this end “the members of TCCC have a great responsibility to act as trade ambassadors between the two countries”.
