The Turkish-Canadian Chamber of Commerce formally started its operations in Montreal office on March 18, 2010. Chamber has organized an introduction meeting in Montreal, Quebec, on that day. It was the first meeting at outside of Ontario. The meeting started with a traditional sunday breakfast and TCCC's activities and projected action plans were presented after. They briefly uttered that Chamber activities will have a solid support from Montreal and mentioned that establishing a Chamber of Commerce to connect Turkish and Canadian entrepreneurs was a definite necessity.
Mr. Ayfert Barak was announced as Montreal representative for Chamber in this meeting as well. In the near future similar introduction meetings will be conducted in Ottowa, Calgary, Edmonton, Vancouver and Winnipeg which territory representatives have been already appointed.
