President Message
Fellow entrepreneurs, business partners, and friends:
Filled with excitement and enthusiasm, it is my pleasure to write to you in this very first newsletter brought to you by the Turkish Canadian Chamber of Commerce (TCCC).
TCCC was founded as a politically independent, selfâ€supporting, nonâ€governmental and notâ€for â€profit organization in Toronto. The Chamber’s mission is to foster a sustainable growth in social, economic and political relations between Turkey and Canada. TCCC will provide a progressive platform for sharing the knowledge, experience and relations which Turkish and Canadian businessmen may need while conducting business in Canada, Turkey and in the International arena.
The Chamber formally started its operations on October 28, 2009. Speaking on behalf of the members of the Board of Directors, we are certain of nothing except of our own effort to make things work. We’ve set an aggressive direction for the Chamber and only time will tell if we were successful. In fact, you will tell us through your participation and involvement.
I encourage you to come to our events, ask us questions and share your ideas.
I also encourage you to make this an opportunity of your own. Because opportunities don’t come excellent by themselves; it’s what we make of them. The Chamber has the potential to become what you want it to be. Do you see a role for the Chamber in growing your business? Do you see a role for yourself in fulfilling the Chamber’s purpose? Do tell us about it. Our primary objective is to make the TCCC an organization that truly serves its members.
Wishing you success, good health and prosperity,
Hakan Toprak
President
